Loma La Gloria, Red Honey
One of our favorite farms, Loma La Gloria is located in the El Boqueron region in El Salvador. The owner/operator Anny Ruth Pimental has been running the farm for some time and produces the same coffee with multiple processing methods. This coffee is named red honey because after the seeds are removed from the coffee cherries, they are left to dry with the mucilage still in tact. This creates a coffee somewhere in between a washed and natural.
This coffee is well rounded with notes of cherry, bergamont, and toasted marshmallow.
